Jomolhari Trek

This superb 8-day trek begins in Paro and leads us into northern Bhutan to a land of yak-herders and to the base of Mount Chomolhari (23,977 feet), which is the most holy mountain in Bhutan. From there our trek brings us to the remote Lingshi Dzong which once guarded the frontier with Tibet. This trek offers fabulous views of the mountains including Jhomolhari, Jichu Drake and Tsheringkhang beside stunning Himalayan scenery. We encounter many yak-herders and their camps but few villages along our route.

Druk Path Trek

This 4 Day trek is wonderfully varied: beautiful scenery, good views of snow-capped mountains, and a visit to a dzong. The campsites are next to the monastery, and also near some beautiful lakes. There are several possible campsites besides the ones listed in the program. After the initial climb the route is not too hard, and if needed , there are several access down to a road from several spots.[nbsp]The treak begins at high altitude with highest altitude being 4200m.

Traversing West-to-East

Go Beyond the Clouds : Lingshi- Laya Trek

This is the longer version of Jhomolhari Trek and popular then the other one. The elevation ranges from 2000m to the height of 5000m approximately. Since the trek always falls under the Jigme Singye National Park it offers wide varieties of landscape and flora and fauna. The main highlight of the trek is Mt. Jhomolhari which is 7300m aprox. You will also come across few settlements which mainly depend on yaks. This trek forms the one of the finest trek in Bhutan. The route starts from Paro-Drugyel Dzong and continues onwards to Jhomolhari camp. And it then goes via lingshi to Laya and exits via Gasa and Punakha in FOURTEEN DAYS
